YELLIES Launch New Bunny Character Just In Time For Easter

Yellies Bunny

If you aren’t already familiar with them, there’s a good chance that you will see one soon as Yellies! have been the latest craze to come out of the toy world. Described as a “flufferpuff,” they are a voice-activated spider pet that many preschool and Kindergarten-aged children have been playing with for the last several months now.

What makes Yellies! so unique is that these sound-activated spiders can yell, talk, sing, clap, and play music. The louder your child yells, the faster they will go. Their eyes light up and legs move as they respond to your child’s voice. The recommended age for the toy is 5 and up.

They also work on carpets. Yellies! have wheels under them so they can work on just about any surface. It’s also advised that kids don’t get their Yellies! wet as they might not work.

Each Yellies! also comes with a unique personality. And now fans will be delighted to hear that there’s a new line of Yellies! Bunny characters that are about to hit retail stores.

And with every toy, there are always pros and cons. Many moms and dads have warned unsuspecting parents that if you do decide to get your child his or her own Yellies!, beware. Your children will attempt to yell as loud as possible to get them moving. While each Yellies! do contain batteries, they don’t contain additional earplugs for moms and dads. Those parents who are looking to buy a toy that helps capture a child’s imagination, might end up disappointed.

Yellies! have just as many critics as they have fans. That’s because the toy will test your child’s vocal cords more than anything else. A lot of parents have even taken to their Twitter accounts to express their opinion or share their horror stories about the popular fuzz balls. Some have written comments such as, “If someone gives your child a Yellies! toy, that means they hate you,” along with, “The person who invented this toy is clearly not a parent.” Others simply pointed out that if you already have a child that is loud and boisterous at home, this toy might not be for them.
