An artist who is best known for his "everyday life" drawings has just announced that he and his partner are pregnant and as fans can expect, he’s sharing the news in eight new comics. Popular Instagram illustrator Yehuda Adi Devir revealed that his wife Maya is pregnant with their first child. And in true illustrator fashion, he captured their entire experience in a series of comics that a lot of people can relate to.

In his comic series "One of Those Days", he chronicle life with his wife Maya in humorous and relatable ways. The moments range from fighting for time in the bathroom, committing Netflix infidelity (in other words watching a series without their partner in the room) or singing their hearts out during a road trip. And now Yehuda has captured all of the moments up to their pregnancy reveal. They range from Maya’s supposed “ovulation operation” to the ways she supposedly tried to seduce him, and yes all of the “hard work” it takes to make a baby. Of course, Yehuda did his best to follow the strict Instagram censorship rules with his hilarious yet family-friendly comic strips.

“We had been trying to conceive for about a year,” Yehuda told Bored Panda in an interview. “While doing so, we’ve realized that a family of our own is the biggest creation we can hope for.”

Of course, it didn’t take very long for Yehuda’s social media followers to congratulate him and Maya on their pregnancy and wish them the best of luck in their journey to parenthood. A lot of people wrote, “A million congrats! Can’t wait to see the caricatures to come with pregnancy and the baby!” along with, “Congratulations! You guys are the best. Hope everything goes well with the pregnancy.”

Yehuda has not said anything on whether or not he plans to add their baby to his everyday comics, but we have a feeling that might be the case. After all, his life with Maya has been an open book up until this point. It only makes sense that the couple continue on to the next chapter, right? Here’s hoping!

In the meantime, we want to send our congratulations to Yehuda and Maya. We will definitely be following that baby bump, both in comic and reality form!

And yes, we totally agree that starting a family is the best kind of creation out there.
