Sometimes, we all just need to sit down and binge watch a show that we used to love so many years ago. It is calming and reminds us of a day not long ago when we didn’t have the worries that we do now. TV in the 90s was a whole different breed, and many people just want those shows back. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air was one of the most popular shows and it introduced the world to the talent of Will Smith.

While the show has been off the air for a while now, there are always reboots in talks. It was just announced that the show would be getting a dramatic reboot, based on a fan-made trailer, but many feel it won’t be the same. They will miss the original antics of the cast that made us fall in love with the show in the first place.

Luckily, Will Smith has just announced that an actual reunion show is coming soon to HBO Max. He made the announcement on his Instagram page and he did so with a shot behind the scenes of the reunion. It shows a lot of the main cast taking an epic selfie, missing, thought, is Uncle Phil.

The announcement came on the 30th anniversary of the show first airing, and that fact alone can make a lot of moms out there feel really old. He also included a shout-out to James, the actor who played Uncle Phil in the original, and while it may not be the same without him, it is sure to be the funny, wholesome content that we all love and miss. According to Comicbook, the reunion will air sometime in November, though exact dates and details have not been released yet.
