Having a baby is expensive which is exactly why you're going to want to hit up your local Walmart this weekend. The retail giant is hosting a Baby Savings Day this Saturday, February 23rd at participating stores where they will be offering huge savings on baby products. They are also hosting a baby event from 10:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m that same day where parents and parents-to-be can try out and test some of the store's product offerings.

Walmart is already a staple shopping stop for many new and expectant parents simply because it offers a lot of the products parents need at affordable prices. Let's face it; when you can buy your stroller, baby clothes, diapers, formula, and baby food all at the same store for competitive prices, it tends to become one of the main stores for parents to shop at. And while Walmart has always had great prices on their wide range of products, it looks like those prices are going to roll back even further on Baby Savings Day.

The company has announced they will be offering significant discounts on items all new and expectant parents need from cribs to car seats, sippy cups to baby formula during this one day sale. And while consumers may need to wait until February 23rd to see exactly what the Baby Savings Day discounts will be, Walmart currently has up to 30% off a huge selection of baby products and baby gear on their website up until February 28th.

If you do shop in the store on Saturday, not only will you be able to test out some new products but parents will also be able to speak to specialists about the different baby gear available, and there will be samples and coupons to give away too! It can be overwhelming to try and select the right products for your baby when there are so many available, so getting the opportunity to try some of the items hands on can definitely help when it comes time to buy.

This will be Walmart's largest in-store event of the year, but don't worry if you can't actually get to a store on the 23rd, because the deals will also be available online as well. The store states they're simply hoping to make life a bit easier and more affordable for new parents by offering the Baby Savings Day as well as offering the rollback prices on a wide range of products that new and expectant parents need.
