Vineyard Vines fans have a good reason to be excited for the next couple of weeks. That’s because their collaboration with Target will soon be hitting stores nationwide. The company, whose logo is ‘Everyday should feel this good,’ has teamed up with the mega retailer to bring fans a custom collection of Vineyard Vines favorites at Target-friendly prices.
The Vineyard Vines collection will debut beginning Saturday, May 18th in stores all across the nation. The collection will feature over 300 different items that will include home and outdoor goods, apparel, accessories and swim swear. There will also be other items that will be a first for the brand. There’s even a look book available online for those who want to get a little head start on their shopping list. The price point will range from $2 to $120, however, many of the clothing items will retail for less than $35. That’s a significant difference from some of the prices of Vineyard Vines items that are currently available in their stores. There will even be an exclusive baby and pet line available, too.
“We created vineyard vines for Target to bring people together to celebrate moments that make summer so memorable. The limited-edition collection features the classic style that vineyard vines is known for, along with Target’s continued focus on value, design and innovation,” said Mark Tritton, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer, Target.
While a lot of fans are worried what this collaboration might do for the Vineyard Vines brand, others are excited that the quality-made shirts, shorts and swimwear will be set at more affordable prices. The limited edition collection will be available in stores until July 13 or until products are sold out. Seeing how popular many of Target’s past collaborations with designers have been – particularly with Victoria Beckham and Lily Pulitzer – many fans believe that the collection will sell out fairly quickly.
Vineyard Vines, known for its preppy and nautical style, was first founded in 1998 in Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts, by Shep and Ian Murray. The brand’s stores feature upper market ties, accessories, matching shirts for the entire family, shorts, swimwear, and bags for men, women and children. Their logo is a pink whale and the company’s headquarters are in Stamford, Connecticut.
