Halloween can be super fun for the entire family, especially when the kids and parents create a family theme for a costume. But it's harder for some who are missing key pieces of the family. Luckily, Vanessa Bryant and three of her daughters were able to find some family joy this holiday. They created a couple of amazing family costume sets to have some fun together on Oct. 31.

Since they are still healing from the loss of Kobe Bryant and daughter Gianna earlier this year, it was another great opportunity to cement their bond as a family as they move forward together.

One costume set was straight from Star Wars, and everyone looked adorable. But the one that won Halloween, according to a Twitter post from Philip Lewis was from the children's book Madeline. Vanessa beamed as the teacher nun Miss Clavel, and teen Natalia and her baby sisters Bianka and Capri looked so cute as the students, wearing matching blue dresses with white collars and adorable yellow hats.

The ode to the book is a great way for their new family dynamic to be highlighted. Although they miss Kobe every day, it's a perfect choice for a family of girls. And we can't help but wonder if Madeline is a favorite book that Bianka and Capri request to be read to them every night.

The Star Wars family theme was also super cute. Vanessa, as the head of the clan, makes a gorgeous Darth Vader, and Natalia pointed out on Instagram how funny it is that she towers over her mom as BB8. The little ones are also adorable, with Bianka sharing a kiss with her as as a storm trooper to Vanessa's Darth Vader. Little Capri made for a darling little Ewok.

Natalia also shared a sweet snap of her godsister, an infant sleeping away while donning crocheted Yoda ears and holding a green light saber. Natalia also shared a throwback image from last year when the family dressed in a Wizard of Oz theme. She shared a cute picture of Gianna as the Tin Man to her Scarecrow, TMZ reported.

We're certain that Kobe and Gianna were missed this Halloween, as they will be throughout the holiday season. But it was nice to see the Bryant girls smiling and having some special family time this Halloween.
