Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson split over a year ago, but the parents of two-year-old True have been making headlines lately with many speculating that the reality star is giving the NBA player a second chance. Kardashian broke off the relationship due to Thompson's rumored infidelity and in the season finale of Keeping Up With The Kardashians the pro athlete finally speaks out about how his actions not only affected Khloé but her entire family.

In one scene from the show, Thompson speaks with Malika Haqq, Khloé's best friend, about how his infidelities affected the mother of his daughter. "She sacrificed the world for me, and for me just being immature and not smart and not really understanding what I value," he said. He added that he "put a lot of weight on opinions that didn't matter," and that he has come to an important realization." It's okay to be deeply in love, you don't lose your man power. That doesn't define you," he said to Malika.

He also admitted that although he's so happy that he and Khloé are getting along, he regrets the choices he made. "I lost my partner-in-crime, my taco Tuesday buddy," he said. "It's like, damn. When it hits you, it hits you hard." And while the jury is still out on whether the former couple are back together or not, Thompson made his feelings perfectly clear. "I want my baby back. I want my queen back," he said.

Thompson even spoke to the Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner about his betrayal explaining, "When I hurt her with all the actions I did, it really affected me a lot because of how much I let you down, and our relationship. ‘Cause, you viewed me as a son so, that's what was the part that was really sad."

The famous momager agreed, responding, "Well, because you hurt her, you hurt me, you hurt all of us." Still, Kris seems willing to give the basketball player another chance, commenting that "All the mending and healing that has gone on has made me feel good about him as a person."

Although rumors have been circulating for a while that the former couple has rekindled their romance, neither Khloé nor Tristan has confirmed anything. The reality star also reportedly just unfollowed Thompson after recent rumors that he dated family friend Larsa Pippen. A source told E! News that despite everything, "They are together and very happy."
