The year 2020 has given us a lot of things to remember. While a lot of them are negative, if we look hard enough, we can see the positives that it has brought. While there has been illness and financial struggles, it has also been a time to come together with family. A time to reconnect with each other and realize what is really important. The way a lot of parents choose to do this is by connecting with their child through something that they both enjoy. Something that they both can relate too.

Harry Potter has been one of those things, and the generation that grew up with the books and movies are now parents and they are introducing them to their children. It has been 19 years since the first movie came out in theatres, and Tom Felton had a special way to honor this anniversary.

According to People, Tom Felton hosted a “Home Party” reunion with various cast members from the movie to acknowledge just how long it has been since the movie came out. Tom Felton played Harry Potter’s arch nemesis, Draco Malfoy, in the movies, but he is nothing like his character in real life.

The reunion was uploaded to YouTube, and it is almost an hour and a half of pure magic and nostalgia. Tom was joined by Daniel Radcliffe (Harry), Rupert Grint (Ron), Bonnie Wright (Ginny), and even Jason Isaacs who played Tom’s father in the films. There were many more surprise guests that also made an appearance, like Luna Lovegood and the adored Weasley twins, Fred and George.

Everyone enjoyed talking about some of their favorite moments from the set and they even shared some behind-the-scenes stories. The event was first live-streamed on Veeps, but it was then uploaded to other apps for more to share and join. Rupert Grint could not believe that it had been that long since the first movie was filmed, and he stated that he still remembers the very first scene they all filmed together.

The movie was so iconic and it is a big part of the lives of all those who starred in it. Daniel Radcliffe said that this was just a preview for what is to come next year, when the film hits is 20th anniversary. The also reminisced on how amazing it is to see how relevant the stories still are even thought it has been so long since the first book and film came out.
