In real life, Gal Gadot doesn't have super-strength or the ability to fly. She doesn't possess the Lasso of Truth either but it doesn't make her any less of a Wonder Woman! After all, she is a strong, independent, caring, compassionate, and creative woman with a great sense of humor. Instead of Diana Prince's tools, she has the rare combination of beauty, brain, and brawn. All these qualities helped the 33-year-old actress attain so much in a very small period of time.

Straight from high school, the now-Hollywood served the Israeli Army and once service was over, joined a beauty pageant for the title of Miss Israel. She won the title but didn't go on to become a model because she wanted to be a lawyer. In yet another change of heart, Gadot decided to try herself as an actress and right as she was about to give up, she landed the role that brought her worldwide fame.

We could say that, after being a Wonder Woman for her entire life, she finally made everyone else around her finally see this title.

And now, Gal is a Wonder Woman and a role model for many of us in the way she lives, attains her goals, sets new ones to attain them too, and, of course, in the way she raises her two daughters - Alma (7) and Maya (1). So let's see what kind of mother Gadot is and feel like we're Wonder Women, as well!

25 She Knows She's A Wonder Woman (Like Any Other Woman)

According to Gal Gadot, every woman is a Wonder Woman because each one of us is capable of doing incredible things.

Giving birth is one of them. Even though it happens countless times a day in all corners of the world, it's still an incredible thing a woman can do. After all, she can give birth to a brand new human being!

For this reason, Gal says, "It’s cheesy, but I feel like Wonder Woman when I give birth. When you deliver, you feel like you’re [divine]. Like, "Oh my [goodness], I made this!" The best thing is to become a mother and to give life."

24 Sometimes She Wishes She Was A SAHM

Oh the mommy guilt when you have to leave your kids at home with someone else or put them in daycare and go to work... This is so familiar to all working moms in the world!

And guess what, this feeling is also familiar to Gal Gadot. She says, "Fame means I have to be very organized. But being a mother means getting up early in the morning even if you're tired because that's your responsibility. I worry that I should always be doing more and spend more time with Alma even when I'm working. I try to do the best I can."

We feel you Gal, we do feel you...

23 She Raises Her Kids Bilingually

Like most other parents, who know more than one language, Gal raises her daughters bilingual, by speaking to them in both English and Hebrew at home. The actress is sure that this initiative will help her girls in the future.

For example, about her elder daughter, Alma, Gal says, "Alma is bilingual; she understands and speaks Hebrew and English. She’s very outgoing. Going through all of these experiences and meeting new people and going to different countries and cultures, you can only gain from it."

22 She Is Ready To Live And Learn

What do you think, what's the hardest thing about being a parent to a preschooler? According to Gal Gadot, it's learning to let your child go and become a little bit more independent.

In her interview for ESPN, Gal remembered, "Recently my older daughter spent her first night out, a slumber party. And I thought I was going to get a phone call in the middle of the night. ‘Come get me. I miss you, Mommy. I want to be home with you.’ But...nothing. I was proud, but I felt like, uh oh, she doesn't need me... I think letting go is the hardest thing we need to learn."

21 She Protects Her Kids' Privacy

Many celebrities choose to show the photos of their kids on social media, take their children with them to events, and do many other things that make their kids nearly as famous as themselves.

But there are also those celebrity parents, who decide that they should protect the privacy of their kids. Gal Gadot is one of them.

Before Gadot's star rose, she used to post quite a few photos of her daughters, but as soon as she became extremely popular, she removed many of them and now she only posts the photos where her girls' faces can't be seen.

20 She's Made Some Wise Choices

Many women are thinking a lot about whether they should build their professionals lives or start a family first. For Gal Gadot, this question also was important not so long ago. Back then, she made her choice and never regretted it.

The actress says in an interview with Daily Mail, "I was thinking about whether I should wait to have children when my acting [life] was more settled, but then I thought that if you're more successful, you're working even more, so that wouldn't be the best time either.

I'm very happy being a mother and as soon as you begin raising your child, you feel this incredible love and happiness that is different from anything else you've ever experienced."

19 She Thinks Parenting Is A Blessing

Despite all the difficulties Gal faces as a mom, she loves her daughters to pieces, just like any other good mom would. The way this woman manages to combine her acting, as well as her fame that has just begun, with raising her daughters is incredible. Even though she's as tired as we are from working and parenting, her positive attitude to everything, the way she smiles in all situations, and the way her eyes sparkle, especially when she's speaking about her kids, should make us realize what a blessing parenting is - for her and for all of us.

18 She Knows What She's Doing

Like many other first-time moms, Gal felt unprepared and had certain worries when she was pregnant with her first daughter.

"I was very nervous as a young mother," the actress admits, but later explains that things were different with her second child because she knew what she had to do from the beginning.

"With Maya, I’m able to enjoy it all much more. I’ve also seen that having a second child changes the dynamics of your family, and I have to make sure that Alma still gets a lot of love and attention from me even though I’m spending so much time with Maya. But Alma is curious, and she loves her little sister. It’s a beautiful time for our family."

17 Her Kids Support Her

When Wonder Woman was released and became a huge success, Gal Gadot's daughter Alma gave her the biggest compliment a mother can hear from her child. She gave her a hug and said, "I'm so proud of you Mommy."

I bet Gal was in tears at that moment!

Later, in her interview Gadot shared that she couldn't have achieved such a success if it wasn't for her family, "It was worth it. [Alma] started getting happy tears and it was like our entire family achievement. It wasn't just me. It was all of us," the actress emphasized.

16 She's Proud Of Her Kids

As many of us know, Gal Gadot was pregnant when she was doing re-shoots for Wonder Woman. Now, remembering it, the actress is proud of her daughter for it.

She recalls, "I was pregnant and showing for some of the additional scenes but special effects hid my bump. It didn’t hinder the process, I could still do the action stuff and the physical scenes.

And now it’s nice to look at the movie and know Maya is in the movie with me. I love that. She has an entry on movie database IMDb.

It took me years to become established, yet she wasn’t even born and already an actress."

15 She Teaches The Best Life Lessons To Her Daughters

We all teach life lessons to our children, but due to the difficulties of everyday life and endless duties, sometimes we forget some of the simplest, yet most important lessons of all. But Gal Gadot remembers at least one of them.

When she was asked what she wanted her daughters to learn from her example, the actress answered, "How to love themselves."

In this world, one of the hardest things to do is to always remain who you are and remember who you want to be. But if you're taught from the beginning of your life that you should love yourself and listen to yourself at all times, it'll become much easier for you.

14 She Knows The Sleeplessness Aspect of Parenting

Sleep deprivation is one of the biggest difficulties of new mothers, especially of those who have more than one child. After all, a mom has to take care of her newborn, but she also can't forget about her other kids and pay enough attention to them, too.

Gal Gadot knows how it feels, too. Once she posted a photo of herself, tired but happy, and commented"Sleepless night, colic 3 months old baby and an early wake up by my 5 year old. Went to the garden to get some fresh air with my coffee to help me wake up and now watching The Cat In The Hat with my daughter. It always amazes me how the most simple things are the ones to make us the happiest."

13 She Values The Family Fun Time

All working moms know that sometimes it's hard to find the time to play with our kids. At times, we even think that it's more important for us to finish working than to have fun crafting with our children or enjoying a board game. But, as soon as we start playing, we realize that, in fact, nothing else in the world as important as the bonding time with our family.

Gal knows this all too well. Above you can see the photo of her family playtime, where she and her daughter are having fun with clay. This photo is captioned on her social media as, "Looks like today's color is purple."

12 And She Knows That Me-Time Is Also Important

Any mom, any woman and any person for that matter needs to have some me-time every now and then, even though sometimes it's hard to find it amidst all the work, parenting duties, and other things we have to do. Gal Gadot realizes this fact and she always tries to find some time to just do what she wants, such as to do some coloring, for example!

Besides, when the actress was training to play Wonder Woman, she also began meditating. "It helped me to be more centered," Gal remembers. "You give nothing, and you gain a lot. And it's funny because with meditation, the people who need it the most are the ones that can't find the time for it, right?"

11 She Follows Her Own Mom's Example

For Gal Gadot, her mom is her personal superhero. She always supported her and was there for her through thick and thin. And she's also the one who made Gal who she is.

On Mother's Day two years ago, the actress posted an old photo of herself and her mom and captioned it with the sweetest words, "My mom is a teacher - she helps children push their personal boundaries and achieve things they never thought they could. She taught me that I can do anything."

Truly, every Wonder Woman has a Wonder Mom behind her.

10 She Enjoys Being A Role Model To Her Girls

When Gal was worrying about making her girls travel too much or work too much, her husband told her a very wise thing. The actress recalls,

"It was my husband who told me: Gal, think about what kind of a role model you want to be. If you want to show Alma that she can follow her dreams, that’s what you should do, and we will figure out the logistics.'”

And she goes on to add, "At the end of the day, I always tell myself that it is very, very important for me to be a good role model for Alma, my daughter." And what does she teach her, among other things? Of course, it's the fact that you don't need a superhero. You just have to become one yourself.

9 She Wants Her Kids To Understand What She's Doing

Indeed, it isn't easy to explain to children why their mom is often away from home, so Gal strives to help her daughters realize why she needs to spend some time away filming a movie sometimes. The actress comments,

"When I choose a role, I always think about whether my daughter can get something out of it when she watches the movie later after she’s grown up. Or even just show her that Mommy’s doing what Mommy loves to do. And therefore, she can do what she loves to do and have a family at the same time.”

And when Wonder Woman came out and became as big as it did, this is what Gal said to Alma, "You see, all the time when I didn't get to see you enough and I was working and it was cold and you came to see me on set and we [disliked] it? We worked hard enough. People love the movie."

8 Being A Mom Is Her Most Important Role

Even though she saves the whole world on screen, in real life Gal Gadot's most important role is being a mother to her daughters. She loves spending time with them and her family is always her number one priority.

"It’s the best feeling in the world to create life," Gadot admits. "I may play a goddess in Wonder Woman, but I feel like a true goddess after giving birth and being the mother of two beautiful daughters."

It reminds us that we should also feel empowered by giving birth to our kids and then raising them in the best way we can.

7 She Loves Her Man Very Much

When Gal was asked to describe her husband, her reply was simple but awesome. She said, "Oh, he's the best man!" Could we expect anything less from the husband of a Wonder Woman?

"I love every moment I spend with him and my daughters," Gal added"He is also a very successful businessman and is very involved in that. But even though we are both busy with our work, family life comes first. I am a very, very happy woman who can hardly wait to come home to my family every time I finish work on a film."

6 She Likes To Capture The Moment Sometimes

We all get engulfed by our duties at times and forget about the value of the present moment. Yet it's so important to be in the now, at least sometimes, and appreciate your life, just like Gal did when she took a step away from her everyday responsibilities and then shared her feelings with others.

The actress wrote in her post, "With the daily routine of life, family and work I'm distracted all day long . Today I had a moment with myself when I was looking out the window at the beautiful clear blue sky and realized that I'm 9 months (!!!) pregnant and soon will have a new lovepup as an addition to our family... could not be more grateful to the universe. Sending you guys some positive gratitude energies."
