Fans of MTV's former hit reality show The Hills can start to get very excited because not only has the network announced a date for the return of the show's upcoming reboot, but they've dropped their first trailer as well. The Hills: New Beginnings is set to debut on MTV on June 24th and in addition to the return of many of the OG cast members, there are also a few new fresh faces viewers will be excited about.

Who Is Coming Back?

Original cast members Spencer Pratt, Heidi Pratt, Audrina Patridge, Brody Jenner, Frankie Delgado, Jason Wahler, Justin “Bobby” Brescia, Stephanie Pratt and Whitney Port, are all returning to the hit reality show that made them household names, but two big stars are noticeably missing.

Kristin Cavallari, who joined the cast in the later seasons has confirmed won't be returning to the reboot. Cavallari is a successful businesswoman, cookbook author, and mother of three, and currently has her own self-titled reality series, Very Cavallari. Lauren "LC" Conrad, the original star of The Hills, has also turned down any offers to return to her reality show roots.

The current designer and lifestyle expert recently announced she's expecting her second child with husband William Tell.

Despite not having Cavallari or Conrad returning, it looks like viewers are in for a drama filled the season. The newly released trailer promises that "it's time to start all over again" as it gives us glimpses into what life has been like for the castmembers since the original show aired from 2006 to 2010.

What Should We Expect To Unfold?

Many of the cast have become parents, including Spencer and Heidi who welcomed their son Gunnar Stone in October of 2017, Audrina Patridge who had daughter Kirra Max in 2016, and Whitney Port who had her son Sonny in July of 2017. Frankie Delgado and Justin Wahler are also members of The Hills dad crew and with their wives both making appearances on the show.

It seems safe to bet that The Hills: New Beginnings will showcase at least some of the cast members lives as parents. One thing that seems certain is that Audrina and Justin Bobby will revisit their past relationship.

It may not be the same without LC reigniting her feud with Speidi or Kristin's ability to cause drama wherever she goes, but the new stars of the cast should prove to be interesting additions. Barton is best known for her role as Marissa Cooper on The OC, while Brandon Thomas Lee is the son of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee. The rest may still be unwritten, but viewers still can't wait to see how this new chapter is going to unfold.
