This holiday season, The Croods will be providing one million meals to families in need. In partnership with Feeding America, Universal will make a donation every time that fans use #CroodsCare on Twitter. Additionally, funds will be matched for every donation made directly to the Feeding America website through the Croods Care Landing Page: www.feedingamerica.org/croodscare. The Croods: A New Age premieres on November 25th, 2020 for Thanksgiving, and fans have the opportunity to give to a "Virtual Fruit Drive" on Animal Crossing: New Horizons by visiting "Croods Cove."

All you have to do is use the dream code: DA-1282-8266-2121, and every virtual piece of fruit that is donated will equate to a real meal being provided to a family that needs it.

According to the press release, Lauren Biedron, Vice President of Corporate Partnerships at Feeding America is thrilled to be in partnership with Universal Pictures. She states, "We're delighted to join forces with Universal Pictures and The Croods: A New Age to help alleviate hunger for so many families who are in need across our country this winter. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and widespread unemployment, we estimate that more than 50 million people in America may not have enough to eat this holiday season. We're grateful to Universal, Dreamworks Animation, and the tens millions of Croods fans out there for helping us help our neighbors in need."

Starting on November 23rd through December 31st, 2020 every tweet using #CroodsCare will go towards up to 500,000 meals for families.

After the #CroodsCare Social Initiative on Twitter, Universal will launch The More You Know PSA featuring the Croods, and fans can donate and Universal will match the donation up to $40,000 as part of the studio's $100,000 donation.
