We already know that children will go to great lengths sometimes to get something that they want. If the prize is worth it, they will clean their rooms, scrub the toilet or even take out the trash. However, the prize is normally a small treat or toy. One daughter decided that she wanted a cat and that is a whole other ball game. Parent’s can be hesitant to give their child a pet, because they realize there is a good chance they will be the one who ends up doing all the work.

According to The Dodo, one daughter was so convicted in her need for a feline companion, she put on a PowerPoint presentation for her father to try and convince him to let her get a cat and she had some excellent points. Christopher Doyle is the lucky father who has been left with the decision, and this comes after he promised to get his daughter a hamster, which he never did.

Christopher took to Twitter to post some shots of the PowerPoint presentation, and we are all surprised at how well thought out this was by his daughter. She may have a future career as a lawyer. She starts off by reminding him of the fact that he never did get he that hamster he promised her.

She also listed off all the ‘pros’ to getting a cat. She shows that she is not selfish, and that all of her siblings would also like a cat. She points out that having pets can lower your stress level, so it really is the gift that keeps on giving. She also says that a cat is less work, since you don’t have to take it out for walks. She then also decides to add in that he would never have to hear her ask him for a cat again. That may be the best point.

She also made it very clear that she would be the one doing all of the work, in fact, she says she has been researching for 5 years on how to care for a cat. Christopher’s daughter got lucky because after dad posted the story on Twitter, it went viral and everyone agreed with her and begged him to get her a cat. In the end, Christopher has agreed to get her a cat as he shared a picture of cat adoption papers.
