Well, Halloween was fun, wasn't it? But it's November now, and there are just a handful of weeks left before Christmas. Which means if you haven't gotten a jump on your holiday shopping, you're running out of time! Thanksgiving is early this year, so stores are already bombarding us with their Black Friday ads, deals, and tips and tricks. And we are very appreciative of their early bird gets the worm, go-getter attitude. Black Friday is not a shopping day - it's a competitive sport for some people.
You have to have a plan of attack if you want to score the best deals on stuff for the holidays (or just stuff for yourself, we're not judging!). There are a few stores whose Black Friday ads we look forward to, and Target is definitely at the top of our list. The retailer has already released their Black Friday sneak peek, and in addition to some AMAZING deals, they've got some great stuff up their sleeve to make shopping a little easier on that hectic day.
In a press release sent out on November 1, Target announced two really helpful features for Black Friday shoppers. If you have the Target app, you'll be able to pull up a localized map of your store location, which will give you the skinny on where all the best deals are located in the store. No more wandering around with a cart trying to find that TV you came for! Just find it on your map, and plan your route before you even make inside the doors.
But even better than the app map? This year, Target will allow shoppers to use technology and check out pretty much anywhere in the store with their "Skip-the-Line" checkout. Mobile checkout is now available at all Target stores nationwide, which means that all you have to do is find a team member (they'll be wearing red, like always) anywhere in the store, and they can ring up your purchases and get you on your merry way so you can skip the long and winding checkout lines. On Black Friday, there will be team members located in the busiest areas of the store, like electronics. How cool is that?!
The Black Friday ad is definitely getting us excited for the busiest shopping day of the year. 40% off fake Christmas trees and $100 off a Roomba? Yep, we'll be there.
