Summer 3Dlite+ Convenience Stroller Review

Summer 3Dlite+ Convenience Stroller Review

There are so many things new parents are tasked with purchasing before their baby arrives. Many products that are important for safety or sanity, and everything in between. Several of those baby items will be around for years, and others will need to be replaced and upgraded as the baby grows into a toddler and young child. Having a stroller is one of those items that grows with your baby as they get older. Many parents opt to swap out a larger stroller that's needed for a newborn for a more lightweight one as their baby turns into a toddler and beyond.

Choosing the right lightweight stroller for your child isn't easy because there are so many to choose from, but not all are made the same. With so many features to choose from and brands to sift through, making sure you're getting the most safety and use out of your stroller without having to shell out your entire paycheck can often feel like a gamble, which is why it's good to read up on each stroller, compare for features and what you're looking for, and if it's worth your money.

There's a new lightweight stroller out on the market this year, and it might just be that perfect lightweight stroller that you've been searching for. The Summer 3Dlite+ Convenience Stroller is now available and is based on their original best-selling 3Dlite stroller, with some upgrades in both the way it looks and feels and the features it offers.

Like many lightweight strollers on the market, the 3Dlite+ Convenience Stroller comes with a lightweight aluminum frame that's durable, along with the over-sized canopy with a sun visor and the super convenient "peek-a-boo window" so you can keep your eye on your little one. The stroller itself only weighs 14 lbs so it's a good lightweight stroller that won't leave you with aching arms from trying to lug it around.

What We Like

There is a lot to like about this re-designed stroller from that much needed larger canopy to the wheels that let you turn and pivot with ease. That means this is great to navigate in crowds even with a larger toddler who might wiggle around a little bit. The stroller folds up easily and the compact fold with strap to carry is really useful to be able to hold one child with one hand (or hold their hand while they walk) and carry the lightweight stroller in the other arm.

Considerations

Like nearly all lightweight umbrella strollers, there is the ability for this to tip over if you have anything of weight in the basket and the baby or toddler isn't sitting in the seat. The fabric doesn't fully come off so you can't machine wash if there is a major accident. Also if you have a child on the larger end of the size requirements, the leg strap for their feet to go is a little small if you have a toddler riding in the stroller.
