They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and Costco has just made it easier to stick to your diet and enjoy a quick and easy breakfast at the same time. The Keto Diet, which has followers consuming a high-fat, medium-protein, and low-carb diet has become increasingly popular over the last few years with many crediting it as the reason for their amazing body transformations and drastic weight loss. Following the keto diet has gotten a lot easier recently as many companies are making a lot of their ready-made products keto-friendly, including a new line of breakfast sandwiches that are available at Costco.

The Instagram account Costco Buys recently posted a picture of Red's keto-friendly breakfast sandwiches that are made with eggs and turkey sausage that are currently available at the bulk retailer and people can't wait to try them out. A box of 8 sandwiches retails for $12.99 which is pretty good considering each sandwich is made up of cage-free egg patties instead of the traditional bun, turkey sausage, and cheese.

Even if you're not following the keto diet but want something a bit healthier around the house for a quick morning breakfast option, these are a great idea. With 17grams of protein and just 160 calories per sandwich, these are great to grab for a quick bite before heading out for the day or even for the kids before they head off to school in the morning. They'd also be great for a mid-day snack or something to give the kids before or after sports practice that's healthier for them than many of the typical pantry snacks kids love to grab. It's always nice to have something in the house that can be microwaved quickly when you or the kids are hungry but you don't have the time or energy to be making something from scratch.

And of course, with only 3 grams of carbs per sandwich, this is also ideal for those who are following the keto diet or trying to ease into the keto lifestyle. If these sandwiches look like something you'd like to try in your house make sure to check your local Costco. We all know that stock sometimes varies by location so if you can't find them at Costco you can check out the location finder on Red's website which will not only point you to local stores in your area that carry them but where you can buy online as well.
