If parents find themselves struggling to get their children to go to sleep at night, the Sleep Squad may be a lot of help with their new interactive video experience. A lot of moms know the struggles that can come at bedtime. When mom wants nothing more than for her children to just go to sleep so that she can enjoy some time by herself. Of course, this is when children are suddenly incredibly thirsty, or have a thrilling story to tell you. Mom may have tried all of the tricks in her bag, but if she is running out of ideas, there is a new solution.

Kansas State University is offering a new on-demand ‘Sleep Squad’ experience that will help your child fall asleep at night, and it is all interactive. This experience is being described as a “virtual theatre experience,” and it is recommended for anyone between the ages of 4 to 12, though we think some parents may enjoy it as well. Sleep is vital for development, and anything that can help children get more of it will always be a win.

Since it is an on-demand feature, there is a fee involved. For the video only, a family will have to pay $35. With this, the family will get the interactive video for 2 weeks. They can watch it as many times as they need, which means that moms can use this at bedtime and even to try and sneak in a nap or two. If mom wants to take it to the next level, they can go for the $50 package which includes an ‘Official Dreamtime Kit’ which includes a dream journal, face mask and a star projector to make bedtime even more exciting.

The video is 45 minutes long, but there is an additional 15 minutes of soothing music at the end to fall asleep to. The video is set up so that parents can stop it at 15-minute intervals if all they need is a short video to get their child to sleep. Mom can use her phone, a tablet or even stream it to her TV to watch. The video will help your child have an adventure that will take them right to bedtime.

This could be a great way to have some quality family time before bed each night. The whole family can watch it together before sending the children off to sleep. Bedtime routines are so important to help children wind down for bed, and this video may be the perfect thing to add to yours for the next 2 weeks. If mom would like to purchase tickets for this video she can do so here. Even if it doesn’t help them go to sleep that much faster, it is still a new and fun thing for the family to experience.
