Feeling like you are tired all the time just seems to come with the job description, especially if you are a full-time mom. Rarely do moms actually get a full night of rest, especially if they are juggling their responsibilities at home, their job at the office, and trying to raise a happy and healthy family at the same time.

And while it might seem like many moms are used to their fast-paced lifestyle and schedules, they also realize just how tired and sluggish they look and feel on an everyday basis. Luckily, there are a few beauty hacks that can help hide dark circles under your eyes or help even out your skin tone to help you look more refreshed. The best part is that many of these beauty hack items are probably already in your makeup bag and only take a couple of seconds to apply. If they don’t work, you can always take 30 minutes out of your day to help give your body and your health the overall boost it needs.

With that being said, here are six tried and tested beauty hacks that tired moms will love and appreciate. You might feel like you are still running on empty, but at least you’ll look a little more glowing and gorgeous.

1. Hide Dark Circles With Red Lipstick

This might be a little difficult to believe, but yes, you can hide your dark circles under your eyes with red lipstick. While a lot of people like to put on red lipstick to distract from the rest of the tired features on their face, one beauty hacker named The Indian Spot suggests you put it under your eyes, too. Just pick a creamy red lipstick with an orange undertone, as it will help even out the darker skin tone.

2. Stick Your Mascara In Your Bra

It might sound strange at first, but sticking your mascara in your bra will work magic on your lashes and get the most of your eyelash curls without having to use a curler. All you need to do is stick your mascara in your bra for a few minutes to warm it up, especially if it’s gone clumpy. The heat will loosen up the product, making it easier to apply. Although you might want to be careful, as heat can sometimes cause bacteria to grow. Check the expiration date on your mascara before applying.

3. Pop On Some Peppermint Oil

As many mamas already know, there are so many benefits to peppermint oil, especially when it comes to everyday use. Peppermint oil is valued for its cooling effects to help relieve sore muscles and can even fight infections or freshen your breath. If that weren’t enough, you can also mix a little of it with your lip gloss to give your lips a little plumping boost. But don’t worry, it won’t give you that Kylie Jenner looking boost, if that’s what you are afraid of.

4. Sip Some Green Tea

Green tea is more than just a decision picker-upper in the middle of the day. It’s packed with antioxidants that will help your skin look gorgeous throughout the day too, and especially when you are feeling tired. A lot of people would even agree that it’s the healthiest beverage on the planet and is loaded with nutrients that have powerful effects on the body.

5. Use A Little Pink Blush

When all else fails, try a little pink on the cheeks. Many beauty and makeup experts suggest that you apply a little pink blush on the highest point of the apple of your cheeks. Then proceed to blend it outward to help give your skin tone a little color boost. If you want even more of a wide awake glow, try a powdered bronzer and lightly dust your cheeks with it.

6. Take A Mid-Day Nap

Simply put, taking a nap is always a good idea. The significant benefit in taking a mid-day nap is that it will help improve alertness and your work performance without making you feel sleepy or groggy before going to bed at night. A good midday nap can last anywhere from 15 to 90 minutes. Experts agree that the best time for a nap is usually mid-afternoon, around 2 or 3 p.m. This is the time of day when you might experience post-lunch sleepiness.
