For those who love to travel but get sick each and every time they are on a long car ride, there’s finally hope. You can still see all the sights on your bucket list without needing a bucket in your lap, thanks to a new innovative product by French auto company Citroen.

The car marker is launching a new pair of glasses called the “Seetroen” glasses. They were designed to help eliminate motion sickness before it even happens. For a lot of travelers, motion sickness is the feeling you get when the motion you sense with your inner ear is different from the motion you visualize. It is a common condition that occurs in some people who travel by car, train, airplane or boat.

Here’s how it works: encourage your child or any member of your family that suffers from motion sickness to put it on the moment they feel ill in the car. After about ten minutes, the glasses will help enable the mind to resynchronize with the movement being perceived by the inner ear while the eyes stay focused on either your mobile phone, book, or iPad. Then all you need to do is take off the glasses and enjoy the rest of your trip.

Seems easy enough? The company is hoping so, too. Citroen recently wrote this on their website: "Over 30 million people in Europe suffer from chronic travel sickness. In response, Citroën, a brand dedicated to comfort, is presenting SEETROËN, the first glasses to eliminate motion sickness. The principle of the SEETROËN glasses is simple. They contain a colored liquid that recreates the horizon line to resolve conflict between the senses."

For those who need a quick fix to their motion sickness now, there are a few quick and easy ways that can make traveling a little easier. Focusing the eyes on objects straight ahead may help. There are also oral or patch medications that can prevent or treat symptoms.

Now, there’s no guarantee that the glasses will work until they are tried and tested. But for a lot of kids, they will most likely be attracted to the cool design. The glasses are designed for adults and children older than the age of 10. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to get your hands on the glasses right away. They will be made available next summer and will come at a cool price of $115.
