Just when it seems like 2020 can’t take anything else away from us, it strikes again. On Saturday, October 31st, the world lost a legend when Sir Sean Connery passed away where he was staying in the Bahamas. Sean Connery was a legend and he was the original James Bond. It could be argued that he may have been the best Bond. Sean lived a full life, and he was 90 years old when he passed away. No, we can't believe it either. However, it doesn’t matter how long you live, your family (and fans) will always miss you when you leave.

According to People, Sean was surrounded by his wife and two sons when he passed away. He passed away peacefully in his sleep and no cause of death has been released, though he has been suffering with illness in his later years. When it comes to a memorial, a source has said that one will be planned when the virus has subsided.

Sadly, when someone passes away, all we have left of them is our memories and photographs. We can look at these items and remember the fun times we had and what a wonderful person they were. One of the last pictures of Sean Connery shows the actor smiling with one of his sons and his son’s partner.

The picture was posted back in 2019 on Sean Connery’s 89th birthday. It was posted by Fiona Ufton on her Twitter account. Fiona is the long-time partner of Jason Connery, one of Sean’s sons. The picture shows Sean looking away from the camera with a sweet smile on his face, while his son looks lovingly at the camera.

Jason was Sean Connery’s son with his ex-wife, Diane Cilento, who passed away in 2011. Sean did remarry. Micheline Roquebrune became his new wife, and Sean gained three stepchildren. It had been a while since Sean Connery had done any acting, since he announced his official retirement in 2011, and he was able to stay out of the public eye since then. He was likely enjoying a quieter life with his family. It is clear by the picture that Sean and his family were very close, and it shows the bond (no pun intended) between a father and a son. It is a comfort to all who are mourning this loss that Sean was not alone when he took his last breath; he had his family by his side to bring comfort and love. He will be missed.
