It seems like Meghan Markle's family drama isn't going away anytime soon. The Duchess of Sussex has long had a contentious relationship with her paternal side of her family. Her father Thomas and half-sister Samantha have spoken to the press about Meghan many times, painting the newest Royal in a poor light and accusing her of being selfish, a hypocrite, a social climber and basically trashing her at every opportunity. It seems that all of Samantha's negativity may have come back to bite her as it's been reported that she's currently under investigation for cyber-bullying.

The Mirror is reporting that Samantha Markle is currently under investigation in the United States for cyber-bullying. Samantha spoke out once again after Meghan got emotional during an interview for the documentary 'Harry and Meghan: An African Journey'. When speaking about the pressures of being a newlywed and a new mother while under the intense scrutiny she's been under, an emotional Meghan thanked interviewer Tom Bradby for inquiring about how she was handling all the attention.  "Not many people have asked if I'm ok."

Samantha responded by doing an interview with Inside Edition, stating she couldn't believe Meghan's 'audacity' to complain stating she never called to check in on their father during his recent heart attacks and health issues. Samantha also allegedly wrote a number of controversial messages about Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, posting them online.

According to the Mirror, complaints about Samantha's messages came from a number of countries including Canada, Sweden, and the UK. A spokesperson for the Polk County Sheriff Department in Florida told the Sunday Mirror that “There have been multiple reports of allegations of cyber-bullying made. Samantha Markle is aware of this allegation. She has not been arrested," They went on to add that "This is an ongoing case and I cannot speculate on a timeline yet or make any other comment.”

A source also told the paper that "The allegations relate to numerous internet platforms and include complaints from at least four countries, including the UK, Canada, and Sweden," adding that "It is a large and widespread investigation and is likely to be a long process. The investigation is still at an early stage.”

The Mirror also reported that Samantha's partner, Mark Phillips commented on the investigation. “Whoever wants an investigation against me and Sam, well they are likely to end up in jail for five years for filing a false police report," he said. “We’re not doing any cyberbullying, other than retaliating. Heads will roll in the end.”

There is no evidence the initial complaint came from the Royal Family.
