Since it's officially fall (yay!) we're now only a couple months away from Christmas. It's hard to believe that the holidays are fast approaching, but that's pretty much the truth. Many of wait until the last minute, or at very least, until closer to Thanksgiving, to begin our Christmas plans. But Christmas decorations are already finding their way into stores. So even if you're not ready to admit that the number of days until Christmas is quickly dwindling, it may not be a bad idea to start peeking at ideas. One of the biggest trends for this year? Rainbow Christmas trees.

Long gone is your typical green Christmas tree. Especially if you're going to buy an artificial tree. Usually your Christmas tree is the centerpiece of your holiday decor, and having something like a rainbow tree really makes a statement. You don't even need to decorate it if you don't want to! But if you want to, you still have a lot of different options.

One of the best things about a rainbow Christmas tree is that it does a lot of the heavy lifting for you. The bright primary colors draw a lot of attention to the tree, so you could just use some very simple white lights and clear or silver Christmas balls and you're set. You don't have to do anything grandiose or elaborate, the tree checks those boxes for you. And given the size of the tree (7 feet) it's not something that you can quietly tuck in a corner. A rainbow Christmas tree demands to be seen.

If you're sold on the idea and want a rainbow Christmas tree of your own, you should probably act quickly. As of right now, there are two trees available for purchase on Amazon. But we forewarned, these trees aren't cheap.

Looking for a more typical Christmas tree in design? Then you should get the Treetopia Color Burst Rainbow Christmas Tree ($240.) Standing seven feet tall, the tree is a more lush and full 46 inches wide and comes unlit. Consisting of 1,213 branch tips, the tree has a five-year standard warranty. And it comes with a white tree stand.

But if you're looking for something a little more demure, give the Best Choice Colorful Rainbow Christmas ($140) tree a glance. This tree is designed more like a fir tree, so it's not quite as wide. It's still seven feet though, and has 1.213 branch tips as well. Again, this tree is unlit, so you have control.

Rainbow Christmas Trees are definitely going to be the coolest part of the holiday season, so if you want one, don't wait too long.
