Bullying has been a problem for as long as one can remember, and it is passed the time when it needs to stop. Children all over the world are subjected to bullying at school, and now bullying has gone online, where the perpetrator can hide behind the convenience of a screen. Prince William wants to see it end.

Prince William spoke with students virtually on November 18th to mark Anti-Bullying Week in the U.K. The students are all ambassadors for the organization to help stop bullying in schools. The students all opened up about the bullying they have encountered in their lives, but they are now using their experience to help others overcome their own stories of being bullied.

They also spoke about COVID-19 and the impact this has had. They were all surprised that despite the country being locked down, the organization had reported 46% of youth were being bullied during the year. They have all had to adapt their campaigns and go online this year in order to help provide support during the pandemic.

Tessy Ojo is the CEO of the Diana Award, and she stated that the youth have gone through a lot this year, and it has had an impact on their mental health and wellbeing. They said that this surprise chat with the Prince was great motivation for them to work harder.

According to the official website for the Diana Award, they are the only charity set up in memory of Princess Diana, and they are inspired by her belief that young people are really going to change the world. They state that there are two things that they focus their efforts on and that is young people and change.

Anyone can go on the website and look into how to become an anti-bullying ambassador, though you may need to be local to the area. This can still be an inspiration to the youth all across the world to stand up and put an end to bullying.
