Adorable Photos Of Prince Louis Released To Celebrate His First Birthday

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge celebrated a milestone on April 23rd when their youngest son, Prince Louis, celebrated his first birthday. While the youngest of the couple’s three children aren’t seen as often as his older siblings, the Royal Family shared three new photos of the Prince to celebrate the momentous occasion.

The photos, which captured the prince who is fifth in line to the throne, playing outside the family home in Norfolk, England and showing off his two brand new teeth, were taken by the Duchess of Cambridge herself, Kate Middleton.

Kensington Palace shared the pictures on their official social media sites, and The Royal Family shared the pictures of the smiling Prince on their official Facebook page as well.

This isn’t the first time that Duchess Catherine has shared her photography skills with the world either. In fact, the proud mother has captured many of the images of her children that have been shared on social media, including the first official pictures of her youngest child, Prince Louis, that were shared publicly.

To celebrate Princess Charlotte’s third birthday, the Duchess showed off her photography skills when she captured this sweet shot of her daughter giving her new little brother an adorable kiss.

The Duchess also captured the first official photo of Princess Charlotte being held by her older brother and future King, Prince George, as he gazes down at her.

While Royal watchers have seen the littlest prince in official family photographs including the Royal Christmas card and other family events, he hasn't been seen as often in public as his older siblings, so many were thrilled to see these newest portraits.

Many couldn't help but point out that Prince Louis' uncle, Prince Harry and his wife, the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle didn't post a picture tribute to the Prince on his first birthday on their own Instagram page. News of a rift between Prince William and Prince Harry has been growing over the past few weeks, and this omission hasn't done anything to quell the rumors. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex did, however, with Prince Louis a happy birthday in the comments section of Kensington Royal's Instagram post writing, "Happy Birthday Louis! Sending lots of love from both of us xo," followed by a birthday cake and balloon emoji.

Prince Louis is soon going to have a new cousin to celebrate with as Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan are expecting their first child any now.
