Toy Story movies have delighted fans since 1995 when the first movie featuring Woody, Buzz Lightyear and Andy premiered. Since that first movie, Toy Story watchers have been introduced to many new toys, their background stories and have gotten to watch them save the day time and time again when the children who own them are out of eyesight.

The latest movie, Toy Story 4 introduced us to the newest character in the beloved movie series, Forky. Disney and Toy Story fans are going to be super excited to learn that Forky is going to be getting his own mini-series called “Forky Asks” on Disney’s new streaming service Disney +. The mini-series was announced Wednesday, October 30th when fans were given a preview into what the show is going to be all about with a trailer.

The trailer gives us a sneak peek into all things Forky and lets viewers know that the subject matter that forky will be covering will be educational and fun. While this show is aimed at the toddler audience, it’s believed that the quirky character will be appreciated and loved by viewers of all ages. The trailer starts off hilariously by telling us that the 10 part mini-series will be dedicated to answering 10 timeless questions including…what is cheese…setting us up to understand that it will definitely be a series that will make us laugh.

Forky made his first appearance in the Toy Story franchise in this summer of 2019 when Toy Story 4 was released. Forky lived the life of an ordinary fork before he met Bonnie and Woody, came to life and joined the rest of the Toy Story crew. Unlike the other characters though, Forky, an arts and crafts project from Bonnie’s kindergarten class doesn’t see himself as a toy and doesn’t quite feel as if he fits in with the rest of the toys.

Forky Asks is set to air on Nov. 12 which is the date that Disney + is set to launch. The show will be available to watch to anyone that is a subscriber of the streaming service. Disney + will be available to subscribers at the affordable price of $6.99 a month and can be bundled with Hulu and ESPN + for $12.99 a month.
