Pink Says She Will No Longer Share Her Kids On Social Media

Chart topper Pink has had enough of her online haters. The singer, who shares two children, Willow, 7, and Jameson, 2, with her husband Carey Hart, has announced that she will no longer be sharing photos of her kids online. This is because of all the nasty comments, criticism, and negativity that she has been subjected to in recent months.

Even though Pink has enjoyed sharing behind-the-scenes photos of her life as a mother with her fans, she will no longer be posting photos or videos of her private life online. The 39-year-old celebrity made the decision after she was slammed for posting a photo of her son Jameson not wearing a diaper while playing with a pelican.

Pink told Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show, Ellen, that some people have gone as far as to threaten to call child protection services on her for the photo.

She explained, “I looked at it like, there was a pelican that flew into our room. It spent two hours with us. It was this incredible experience for my family. And I have a 2-year-old. 2-year-olds don’t like to wear wet swim diapers, and at some point, he took it off. I don’t think like that! We’re a family. We live on a farm. My kids are naked; it’s what happens!”

Pink admits that the experience has not only rattled her to the core but made her reassess her social media practices. Even though she is a proud mother who likes to share family moments online just like so many other parents, being in the public spotlight has brought her more negativity than she’s ever experienced in her life before.

She continued, “People went as far as saying someone should call child services because he didn’t have a diaper on and how dare I … some of the nastiest things. I cried so hard after that because I like to share my family. It’s my proudest moment. I’m prouder of my kids than anything I’ve done in my whole life.”

Pink also said that the change will help her daughter, Willow, as she will now live a more private life, despite having a very famous mother who is a household name. However, Pink did say that there are several positives that come from sharing her personal life online. She said that she’s not only learned a few things from her fans but has also applied what she’s been taught to her everyday life, too.

Pink said, “Someone else taught me two weeks ago that the word ‘gypsy’ is derogatory and I’m not a person who uses derogatory language. I wrote back to them, ‘Thank you so much for being so kind and for educating me. I’m editing it, I’m taking it down, and that word will never come out of my mouth again.’ There’s a way to do things.”
