Peppa Pig is already an icon among the preschool crowd. And now they'll be able to pump her tunes like they're in the club. Or at very least, at whatever birthday party is happening this weekend.  Peppa Pig My First Album by Peppa Pig is a compilation of 16 tracks all sung by Peppa herself! All of our favorite supporting characters are there, including Mummy Pig, Daddy Pig, and Peppa's little brother George! Moms.com got a chance to listen to the album ahead of its release. And we got to have a chat with Harley Bird, the young actress who voices our favorite British pig.

"[The album] includes extended versions of much loved songs from the animated series composed by Julian Nott, alongside fresh compositions by Paul Moessl created especially for the album."

"Bing Bong Zoo" is the album's lead single. Madame Gazelle is taking the children on a trip to the zoo, and we get to tag along on their trip. To get kid's involved, the song is interactive, asking kids to waddle like a penguin or snap like a crocodile. There is also a music video for the song! It cuts between Peppa and her class on their trip to the zoo, and kids dancing to the song. Kids will love to sing and dance along for sure!

All of the tracks on My First Album are short, which keeps kid's attention. Not only are they fun to listen to, but many of the songs keep kids moving or talking. In "Rainbow," Peppa sings about the colors in the rainbow. It'll have your kiddos being able to tell you that indigo is a "bluey purple" color. "Getting Ready Song" will make dressing for the day easier. Peppa helps George with getting ready for the day by reminding him of all the steps he needs to take. With back to school time just around the corner, this song will be a lifesaver!

There is no doubt that kids will have an absolute blast listening to this album. "Peppa Party" is sure to get them up on their feet and dancing. "Jumping in Muddy Puddles," which is Peppa's favorite activity, will soon become your kiddo's too! And there's no way they will be able to sit still when "The Festival Song" is on.

Peppa Pig isn't the only character the songs focus on. In "Bit of an Expert," Daddy Pig gets to shine. Our favorite hustling hopper, Miss Rabbit has a song about her many jobs, "Miss Rabbit's Jobs." Peppa's bestie, Suzy Sheep cameos in the song "Friends." All of the members of the playgroup are present in "Class of Madame Gazelle." Even Super Potato gets a song, "Super Potato Song."

"Big Balloon" is one of Harley Bird's favorite songs. Bird is the voice of Peppa Pig for both the show and this album. "I am actually very excited about what people think about the new album, the songs are really good!" she tells us via email. Bird, who is now 17, has been the voice of Peppa since she was young. Animated shows take a lot longer to produce than regular television shows, so it makes sense that she's grown with the role.

"When I was five, I used to do one episode for each recording," she says of the process to voice Peppa. Young kids can only focus but for so long, and if there are multiple takes, it can be a long day for a five-year-old. "I can now do as many as six episodes in one recording!" she says.

Bird, wants to be an actress and is looking to study acting in both the UK and America. She doesn't feel that she herself is as iconic as the character she plays. "I think it is amazing that Peppa is loved by so many people," she says.

There is no doubt about how much kids of all ages love Peppa. She is the star of viral memes in addition to her show. Chinese young adults became so enamored with her that she became a cultural icon, causing the Chinese government to outlaw her.

Peppa Pig My First Album is available today, July 19th. It is available everywhere you stream music: Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Google Play and deezer. You can also purchase it on iTunes.
