Paul Walker's Daughter Shares Sweet Throwback Of The Late Star

It's been almost six years since actor Paul Walker was in a fiery, high-speed car crash that claimed his life, but he's still remembered by those who love him every day. The Fast and Furious actor was a passenger in a car driven by friend Roger Rodas when he died, and his loss was felt by his family, his co-stars, and his fans alike, who mourned the loss of the 40-year-old actor. His daughter, Meadow Walker, who typically doesn't post often on social media and tends to keep a rather low profile online, took to Instagram recently to post a sweet throwback picture of her dad, and fans are thrilled.

The picture, posted just yesterday, showed Meadow's dad smiling while swimming in the ocean with a wild pig. She captioned it simply, "thinking of you xx," and is the first picture she has posted of her father since his birthday in September of 2017.

While many of Walker's fans took to the comment section to tell Meadow how much the actor meant to them, some of Walker's former co-stars also took to the comment section to write about the touching picture. Fast and Furious co-star Tyrese wrote, "Animal and Ocean lover!!! Never seen this pic! So cool!" while Jordana Brewster, who played Walker's love interest in the Furious movies wrote, "I love this picture." The Paul Walker Foundation, started by Meadow after her father's death, commented simply with two heart emojis.

Meadow founded The Paul Walker Foundation to honor her father. The foundation aims to help protect oceans and wildlife by providing grants and scholarships to students working in the marine science field. Meadow doesn't post often on social media, having only posted a handful of photos of her father since his death, but each one seems to have special meaning to her.

It was two years after his death that she posted a stunning throwback picture of herself and her father explaining why she decided to start a foundation in his honor. "Reflecting on my father, I found myself reflecting on his passions. His passion for the ocean, his passion for rescuing animals, his passion for helping people and his passion for spontaneous goodwill. I wanted to start this foundation because I want to share that piece of him with the world. I want to share that part of him with others. I am tremendously proud to be launching The #PaulWalkerFoundation(@paulwalkerfdn) on his birthday. I can't think of a better way to celebrate my father. #DoGood"

Although she may not post on social media often, it's clear that Meadow, Paul's only child with ex-girlfriend Rebecca McBrain, continues to try to #DoGood to honor her father.

Although in the past her posts on Instagram were sporadic, she has posted a handful of shots in the last month alone. It's possible now that she's older she will begin to use social media to help promote the foundation she founded in her father's name.
