Before her parents were arrested for allegedly spending $500,000 in bribes to secure her and her sister's admission to the University of Southern California, Olivia Jade Giannulli was a very successful beauty influencer. The 19-year-old has almost 2 million subscribers to her YouTube channel and 1.4 million followers on Instagram. Once news of the scandal broke Giannulli began to lose her lucrative sponsorship deals including partnerships with HP, Sephora and Estée Lauder Companies. Despite not having posted on Instagram since February and YouTube since March, it seems the teenage influencer is ready for her comeback.

"Olivia has been emotional in the midst of all of this and definitely wants to make a comeback and still wants to be a beauty influencer," a source told Us Weekly. "She understands she needs to hide out for now and lay low, but she’s anxious to be back in the spotlight again and thinks that over time she’ll be able to come back."

Sources initially stated that Olivia Jade was frustrated and angry, even livid with her parents about how the bribery scandal had negatively affected her growing influencer business. Sources stated that the teenager moved out of her parent's house amid the scandal to attempt to re-focus on her own life and try to avoid the constant paparazzi presence.

Many have stated that Olivia Jade was so angry because it wasn't her idea to go to college at all, and that she was happy with her influencer business and her online presence. Sources say the YouTuber felt like her parents had ruined everything she had worked so hard to build.

Recently sources have stated that Olivia Jade has been reconnecting with her parents and is even trying to be readmitted to USC. Giannulli's parents, Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli have pleaded not guilty to the charges they are facing, and if convicted they could each face up to 40 years in prison. A source told US Weekly that Olivia Jade is worried about her parents, and that “she now knows that this is very serious and has been calling her mom and dad every day to check in and see what is the latest with the upcoming court dates.”

While Olivia Jade boasts impressive followers on her social media channels, she has been forced to disable comments as many people were leaving critical and unkind comments on every post. If she's hoping for a comeback she may need to wait a little bit longer for people to be accepting of her once again.
