North West Rapped At Kanye’s Fashion Show & Of Course There's Controversy

Kim Kardashian has apologized and credited young YouTuber ZaZa after daughter North's performance at Yeezy fashion show.

It's clear by now that North West is the clear breakout star of the next generation of Kar-Jenners. The 6-year-old isn't just a budding fashionista just like her mom, Kim Kardashian West, but she's also a pretty talented rapper just like her father, Kanye West. North accompanied her famous parents to Paris where her father was presenting in Paris Fashion Week, but the oldest of the couple's four kids wasn't just there to lend moral support, she was a part of her father's show!

North performed, rapping as models from her dad's Yeezy Season 8 show walked the catwalk, but it wasn't long before she was called out for her performance.

The parents of social media sensation ZaZa, a 5-year-old rapper, and dancer who has appeared on Ellen called out North's performance in an Instagram post, claiming it sounds a whole lot like ZaZa's single, "What I Do." ZaZa's mother posted her daughter's video alongside a video of North showing just how similar both performances were.

"In July of 2019, ZaZa & her dad went into the studio for the ultimate experience! To finally begin making the music she wanted to make. We take PRIDE in creativity, and believe whether a child’s involved or an adult... creativity deserves RESPECT/homage! What @kimkardashian (Kanye west) are doing with their daughter... with the inspiration of ZaZa & our family in mind is okay... we not mad BUT..PLS SHOW LOVE AND SUPPORT TO THE ORIGINAL FIRST!!! We admire Kanye west, and adore his journey. However, we don’t wanna feel like our daughter’s journey in the world of entertainment is being STIFLED ," ZaZa's mother wrote, before posting a copy of both videos.

Kim obviously agreed and acknowledged that North's performance was heavily influenced by ZaZa. She commented on the post writing, " We love you, North is a huge fan and records in the studio all the time with her dad and is inspired by ZaZa and loves Lay Lay too! Today's performance of North's remix of ZaZa's song was something she asked to do at the last minute and a complete surprise. I didn't mean to not give credit where credit was due. Would love for the girls to meet soon."

Kim then posted a series of videos of North's Paris fashion show performance in her Instagram Videos as well as on Twitter and tagging ZaZa. "I’m so proud of my Northie!!!!!! Her 1st performance had me in tears! She had an impromptu performance on stage at her dads Yeezy Season 8 fashion show! Shout out to Zaza!!! North hopes you like the remix!!!"

Both ZaZa's mother and Kim seemed to be happy it all worked out and even agreed to get their girls together in the future. We're happy that Kim made sure credit was given where credit was due.
