If we are being honest, a lot of parents rely on TV shows like Peppa Pig and Paw Patrol. Sometimes, these shows are the only way a mom can get a moment to herself. When it is just one of those days and you just want to put something on to occupy your children so you can get something to eat or hop in a quick shower. Moms may complain about having to watch them all the time, but secretly, we love them.

We are forever grateful for the help they bring us, that is why we may panic a bit if we get word that they may be cancelled. That is exactly what happened with Paw Patrol but thankfully it is just a rumor.

According to PEOPLE, the White House Press Secretary made a claim that the famous show was canceled, sending panicked children scurrying everywhere. The official Twitter page for the show was quick to say that the show is not going anywhere and that it has not been cancelled.

This all stemmed from the past rumors that the show would have to remove Chase, the police pup. The show features pups from all different lines of civil duty, but in the era of BLM, some were calling for the show to remove the top dog or cancel the show.

The Press Secretary made a comment about ‘cancel culture’ and she referenced the show as part of that. She said, “we saw a few weeks ago that Paw Patrol, a cartoon show about cops, was canceled.” A statement that did not seem to have any facts behind it, but it still spread like wildfire. This was also in reference to other police-based shows that were canceled, such as COPS and Live PD.

Luckily, the Twitter was enough confirmation for everyone that the show is not going anywhere. The show seems to be doing better than ever, as they are expanding their specials and rumor has it a video game is being released soon for children to enjoy. The pups are here to stay and this is very good news.
