Everyone is doing all they can to help out during this pandemic. COVID-19 has brought the world together as we realize that we need to fight this as one, and that we all need to give each other a helping hand. Manufacturers have stopped their regular production and have started making face masks and shields for healthcare workers, and even CROCS has given away countless pairs of their comfy shoes to workers. Now, Nike can be added to the list.

Healthcare workers have been heroes during this pandemic. They have worked tirelessly to keep everyone safe, all while putting themselves and their families at risk. Being a nurse, doctor or even just a worker in a hospital means you are on your feet a lot. You rarely get a chance to sit down, and that means you need some comfortable shoes that are going to help you.

“The effort is led by messages of gratitude to healthcare professionals. From one athlete to another, Nike athletes recognize the physical and mental resilience of healthcare athletes” the company said. Nike has already donated $25 million toward battling the crisis and have produced face shields and other medical devices. It is always great to see a company use their resources to help others in need and to give back to the communities that support them and make their business thrive.
