CBS's 60 Minutes will be interviewing Adam Sandler, this Sunday, December 8, 2019. Be sure to tune in. He is opening up his childhood home and giving us a tour. His mother, Judy Sandler shares her feelings about Adam's acting career. She swears she doesn't know where Adam picked up so many curse words. She was, and still is, his biggest fan and support, though.

Adam tells, 60 Minutes, that his mother was always encouraging him, which helped build up his confidence. He says this is what helped him believe in himself. Sandler also recollects his grandmother's caring heart. As reported by FoxNews.com, he remembers eating a lot of cantaloupe as a child, and his grandmother saying it wasn't good for him. Cantaloupe is hard to digest, she would tell him. He would always complain his stomach was hurting. He was even able to fool her. He would pretend to have a stomachache, so he wouldn't have to go to school. Grandma always blamed the cantaloupe.

Sandler began his acting career by landing a part on Saturday Night Live, and was very successful. 60 Minutes explores his beginnings as a cast member, along with why he was let go from the infamous, comedic show. The actor told Daily Beasteverything happens for a reason. We are guessing he accepts what had happened, and has moved on from the issue. We would too, if we made millions from the fame gained. We will get to know a bit more about the movies Sandler produced, along with some questions pertaining to his latest film, Uncut Gems. 

This new movie takes place in the Diamond District of New York. Adam Sandler plays a jeweler who becomes a gambler. His character loves the thrill of achieving his next big goal, while balancing a whole mess of other things. This role is different from what we are accustomed. Adam is always the funny man, but this time around, he is making it known that he is a man who can wear many hats. Which we already knew that.
