Finding quality television content for early learners is crucial. However, not every show for toddlers and kids that is entertaining is educational. With Netflix’s Wonderoos, the creators have found a creative way to make learning fun, while incorporating a social-emotional component within each episode. Wonderoos centers on an adventurous and charming crew of young animal friends from all over the world who sing, play, and learn together as they embark on a journey of ‘Firsts’ that are very relevant early to toddlers and small kids.

In the context of learning stages, content that is rich in: communication and language that lends itself to listening and attention-centered skill sets, content that engages children in a way that encourages kids to follow directions and answer the ‘how’ and ‘why’ for kids, as well as content that encourages speaking, understanding the world, and incorporates the expressive arts are very important to this age group. With Wonderoos, there’s a musical how-to guide for both preschoolers and their parents.
