Now that winter has finally decided to show up, it's too cold to do a lot of things. When you have free time, the last thing you want to do is go outside if you don't have to. This is the perfect weather for binging a new show, or watching a bunch of movies. Luckily, it's almost February which means that Netflix will have a bunch of new movies and shows rolling out for our viewing enjoyment.

From what we can tell, Netflix is just as interested in giving us content we can binge as we are in binge watching. We're getting two complete movie franchises on February 1st, all four movies in the Jaws series drop Feb 1st,  as do the three American Pie movies.

Family sitcom reboot One Day at a Time has its much anticipated season 3 premiere on February 8th. And a new series, Russian Doll drops on February 1st. Kind of like a deadly Groundhog Day, Natasha Lyonne plays a woman who keeps dying and reliving the same moments that lead to a new death.

Since February is the month of romance (Valentine's Day is the 14th!) we're getting 80s teen romance Pretty in Pink on February 1st as well. It rounds out the trifecta of the John Hughes/Molly Ringwald movies since Sixteen Candles and The Breakfast Club are already there. And there will be special original Valentine's Day content. Dating Around, Netflix's first original dating show premieres. On each episode, a single person goes on five first dates.

We also get new comedy specials: Ray Romano: Right Here, Around the Corner on February 3rd, and Ken Jeong: You Complete Me, Ho on Valentine's Day.

Here are some other movies, specials and shows that are also coming in February:

Billy Elliot (February 1st)

Hairspray (February 1st)

The Edge of Seventeen (February 1st)

¡Nailed It! México (February 8th)

Kevin Hart’s Guide to Black History (February 8th)

Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj: Volume 2 (Streaming every Sunday starting February 10th)

The 40-Year-Old Virgin (February 16th)

Chef’s Table: Volume 6 (February 22nd)

Our Idiot Brother (February 26th)

Unsolved: Tupac & Biggie (February 27th)

Jeopardy!: Collection 2 (February 28th)

And as always, when things have to leave to make room for the new ones. If you're a fan of the Jeff Bridges classic The Big Lebowski, you only have a few days left to watch it as many times as you can.

Here are some of the things leaving in February:

Queer as Folk (February 1st)

Children of Men (February 1st)

Clerks (February 1st)

The Big Lebowski (February 1st)

Cabin Fever (February 3rd)
