When we're looking for something to do at night, how often do we turn to our televisions? A night on the couch with a bowl of popcorn is a lot cheaper than a night out. Even if half the time we can't find anything appealing, chances are there's an old standby, or we take a chance on something new. Well, the end of October is fast approaching, and as the temperatures continue to drop, we're going to want to stay in even more. Our old friend Netflix will always be there to provide us with a new show or movie.
This November will not let you down if you're looking for some new movies and shows to add to your queue.
If you're looking for an excuse to have a girl's night in, then you are in some serious luck. the Sex and the City movie arrives to start November off right on the 1st. Get your best girls, some popcorn, fabulous shoes and mix up some Cosmos. The movie, which was released 10 (!!) years ago takes us on the same emotional highs and lows as the show, packed into a two hour film. So make sure you have some tissues handy, especially for the wedding scene.
We also get the much anticipated sequel to last year's Netflix holiday rom-com, A Christmas Prince, A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding. If you love holidays and are in need of yet another royal wedding this year, than this is just what you need. Grab yourself a mug of hot cocoa and some sugar cookies and enjoy!
Ready, set bake! A new season of our favorite, The Great British Baking Show is coming November 9th. Be prepared for more hours spent drooling over delicious looking baked goods, the serene British countryside, and wishing we could get our cookies to look that good.
Attention fans of House of Cards, the new season is here and it looks amazing. Robin Wright's character Claire Underwood has taken control of the White House and we are so here for a powerful, rockstar woman taking charge. This is the final season, and we're sure it'll go out with a bang. Get ready to watch November 2nd.
There is a lot of other great stuff coming, so here's just a short list:
Good Will Hunting (November 1st)
Julie & Julia (November 1st)
Sixteen Candles (November 1st)
The Holiday Calendar (November 2nd)
Outlaw King (November 9th)
Super Drags (November 9th)
The Break-Up (November 16th)
Trevor Noah: Son of Patricia (November 20th)
