Guess what? It's gonna be May (come on, you know you laughed.) May is the transition between spring and summer, as the days hopefully get warmer and we spend more time outside. But on those nights we still want to watch some TV, Netflix has our backs.

May is an incredible month for Netflix original content. There are no fewer than 15 original movies and shows coming throughout the month of May.

On May 1st, we get the documentary Knock Down the House. The documentary focuses on Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and all of the other incredible women who ran for Congress in 2018.

And on May 3rd, the highly anticipated movie Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, starring Zac Efron as serial killer Ted Bundy premieres.

If you're looking for something funny, then you can check out adult animated comedy Tuca & Bertie. The show, whose first season consists of 10 episodes stars comedians Tiffany Haddish and Ali Wong as two 30 year old bird women who are neighbors.

Ali Wong also has her first romantic comedy coming on Netflix, Always Be My Maybe, co-starring her friend, Fresh Off the Boat's Randall Park. Check it out on May 31st.

When FOX cancelled the show Lucifer, fans were devastated. But then came the word that Netflix had picked up the show for a new season. Well, the time has finally come. Season four of Lucifer, its first as a Netflix original, drops on May 7th.

And for all of those fans of the STARZ show Outlander, good news! You can relive the steamy adventure show again from the beginning. Seasons one and two are sweeping onto Netflix on May 27th.
