Can you believe it's almost May? This year is flying by. Hopefully now that it's getting warmer out, the kiddos are spending more time outside. But on those days when they're hanging out inside (days off, or heaven forbid, sick days) we're gonna need something to keep them entertained. So, when you're looking for something to keep them occupied, Netflix to the rescue!

If you're the type of parent who likes to share your childhood favorite movies with your kids, this month is a good one. Two 80s classics are coming to Netflix in May. You've probably compared your toddlers and preschoolers to gremlins, the movie is coming on Netflix on May 1st. Introduce your kiddos to Gizmo and the others, but don't forget: don't feed them after midnight, or it'll get ugly.

Another 80s classic, The Dark Crystal, is also coming to Netflix on the 1st. This might be a little scary for littler kids, but elementary aged and up are sure to enjoy this movie featuring characters designed by The Jim Henson Company.

And if you're looking for great shows for younger kids, Netflix has some seriously cute original programming in May. On the 10th, we get a new season of the Harvey Street Kids. The show is being re-branded as Harvey Girls Forever! and will focus on Audrey, Lotta and Dot getting to meet their favorite boy band, fighting with their actual sisters, and getting into shenanigans with the other Harvey Street kids.

Then, there's Chip & Potato, a Netflix original show for preschoolers. Chip and Potato are a pug and her mouse BFF. In the show, they'll be starting kindergarten, getting new siblings and learning how to be members of their community. Chip & Potato arrive on May 17th.

Here are all of the other movies and shows coming to Netflix for kids in May:

Casper (May 1st)

Chasing Liberty (May 1st)

Dr. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat (May 1st)

Cupcake & Dino – General Services: Season 2 (May 3rd)

True and the Rainbow Kingdom: Mushroom Town (May 3rd)

Nailed It!: Season 3 (May 17th)

Disney's The Nutcracker and the Four Realms (May 28th)

There isn't much content for kids leaving Netflix in May, but there is one loss that will hurt deep. Brace yourselves parents, The Boss Baby is leaving Netflix on May 22nd. We will still have the spinoff show Boss Baby: Back in Business, but if your kiddos still love the movie, you have a few weeks left to watch!

Here are the other movies leaving Netflix for kids in May:

Disney High School Musical 3: Senior Year (May 1st)

Bill Nye, the Science Guy: Collection 1 (May 15th)

Disney's Bridge to Terabithia (May 19th)
