Almost all of the August content for kids are Netflix original programming. Even if it isn't the first season, we're getting a lot of new seasons

Sadly for some of us, August's arrival signals the end of summer. While some parents are sad, some of us are relieved frankly. Summer sometimes feels like an eternity. But you know what isn't an eternity? The amount of time Netflix keeps content. With the arrival of August, we're getting new content from Netflix.

Almost all of the August content for kids are Netflix original programming. Even if it isn't the first season, we're getting a lot of new seasons of existing Netflix family shows.

We get a new season of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, which is a reboot of the popular 80s cartoon. There is also a new part of No Good Nick, starring Melissa Joan Hart and Sean Astin. Nick is still up to something, and the family continues to try and figure out what it is.

Also coming are new seasons of Trolls: The Beat Goes On! and Mighty Little Bheem. Tru of the Rainbow Kingdom is taking on some furry foes in True and the Rainbow Kingdom: Wild Wild Yetis. Spirit the horse is bringing us Spirit Riding Free: Pony Tales, which is likely a prequel. And the Super Monsters are gearing up for back to school!

If you were a fan of the Nickelodeon show Rocko's Modern Life back in the 90s, listen up! There is a new, updated version coming to Netflix. In the one hour special, Rocko is back after spending 25 years in space. When he returns, he finds that everything has been changed. With touchscreen phones, food trucks, and an incessant amount of coffee shops, he is overwhelmed. And then he's out of a job, having been replaced by a kiosk. So he fights to get his favorite show back on the air.
