MTV has finally cut all ties with Jenelle Evans after her husband, David Eason, admitted to killing her French bulldog, Nugget, after the dog snapped at the couple's 2-year-old daughter Ensley. Evans has been a part of the MTV family since 2009 when she joined the cast of 16 and Pregnant while expecting her first child, son Jace. She's been with Teen Mom 2 since its inception in 2011.

MTV released a statement after Eason confessed to killing the dog and fan outrage demanded that Evans be removed from the network. “MTV ended its relationship with David Eason over a year ago in February 2018 and has not filmed any new episodes of Teen Mom 2 with him since,”  the statement read. “Additionally, we have stopped filming with Jenelle Eason as of April 6, 2019, and have no plans to cover her story in the upcoming season,” the statement added. The network ended their filming relationship with Eason after he allegedly made homophobic and anti-LGBTQ remarks on social media.

In a now-deleted Instagram post, Eason posted a video of Nugget appearing to snap at his 2-year-old daughter as she was trying to play with him on a couch, admitting to killing the dog. "I don’t give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face," he began his rant.

"Whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I don’t put up with that s—t at all. I’m all about protecting my family, it is my life’s mission. Some people are worth killing or dying for and my family means that much to me,” he added." You can hate me all you want but this isn’t the first time the dog bit Ensley aggressively. The only person that can judge whether or not an animal is a danger to MY CHILD is ME.”

Evans' responded with her own post on Instagram featuring a picture of herself and Nugget, writing "I’m crying every day. I love you so much and I’m so sorry. I’m speechless." Fans of the reality star called for her to finally leave Eason, fearing for her own safety and the safety of their children. Shortly after the incident, Evans told Us Weekly she was considering ending her marriage to Eason. “At this time, we are dealing with this rough situation. I want to focus on what’s best for me and my kids,” she said. “[Divorce is] in thoughts, but nothing is finalized."

What is finalized is Evans' Teen Mom 2 career. Evans is reportedly upset about the firing according to an inside source who spoke with US Weekly. “Jenelle was shocked and is really upset,” the insider explains to Us. “The decision was given to her suddenly after a lot of back and forth with MTV.” Jenelle's mother, Barbara Evans who has also been a fixture on the reality series is reportedly very upset about the firing.

Neither Evans nor Eason have commented publicly on MTV's announcement as of yet.
