There are countless of blogs, web pages and books out there on what life is like with children including the funny moments and the moments that make you want to rip your hair out. These pages remind us of all the good things that come out of being a mother or a father. However, sometimes, our children are not the most complicated thing in our household. Sometimes, it is our spouse.

There is always a constant battle between mom and dad, even the children know it. They know exactly which parent to go to when they want to break the rules or when they want a snack. They know which parent to go to for advice and which one to avoid when they wake up in a bad mood.

There is now a book arriving soon that is all about the constant battle between mom and dad. It is called Mom Vs. Dad: Whose Side Are You On? And it was written by Lucy and Tom Riles. According to Good Reads, this book is a guide to dealing with the stuff that every husband and wife out there are fighting about.

The book is filled with personal essays about the conflicts that can sometimes happen between a mom and dad. The reason these “conflicts” can happen is because even though they may be married, mom and dad tend to have very different parenting styles. One parent tends to take on the stricter role, while the other is a bit more lenient and laid-back.

The good thing about this book is that it is not that serious. It doesn’t go into the heavy topics, which makes it a great, light read. The description for the book states that it will cover some of the “biggest” topics like if it is appropriate to lick your plate clean at a restaurant, or if an expiration date is more a rule or a guideline. This book sounds like it is perfect for any couple who want to know that there are others out there who relate to them.

The book will be released on November 17th, so it is perfect for a Christmas gift and should arrive in time to be put under the tree. The listing price on Amazon is currently $26 for hardcover. The authors of the book have stated that they want this book to be fun and they want partners everywhere to just be able to laugh together and tease each other about the petty things that can cause arguments.
