Listen, we love kids. They're delightful little beings who surprise us, make us laugh, fill us with joy. Life is never dull when you have small children around! Sure, sometimes that's because they are like tiny little wrecking balls who leave a swath of destruction in their paths. But still ... love them! However, as much as we love those little stinkers, we reserve the right to be thoroughly and completely disgusted by them from time to time. Kids are gross, let's be honest. And we all have our own stories of our own kids doing really gross stuff. But we'd be hard-pressed to come up with a story that compares to one of the most viral kid stories in the last few years. You might remember this little guy - it's one of the stories that you don't forget. It's about the time mom found the piss drawer, and we're simultaneously laughing and gagging over this.
You know when a story starts out, "Mom found the piss drawer", you're in for a wild ride.
Twitter user @Phoebebartlett_ shared this story in 2017, but it bears a second telling. She tweeted out a picture of her little brother crying next to a small dresser. One of the drawers is open and filled with what appears to be ... urine. To top it off, the cute little dude is dressed as Batman, which just adds another layer to the story.
Apparently, Phoebe's 3-year-old brother had been relieving himself in his dresser drawer for quite some time. Why? Who knows, honestly. Because he's 3, and a boy, and he could? Their mom had been smelling urine for about a week, and this little boy blamed it on the dog. HE BLAMED THE DOG! But them mum opened the drawer and made the horrific and hilarious discovery. Phoebe says her best guess as to why her brother was peeing in the drawer is because his tablet is also on the dresser, and rather than stop playing with it to go to the bathroom, he found it much easier to just pull out the drawer and do it there.
The replies to the original tweet are just as good as the tweet itself. Listen, we all know a kid who would do this - maybe we HAVE a kid who would do this! Mom ended up chucking the entire dresser, because (SPOILER ALERT) you can't really get the smell of piss out of particle board when it's been soaking for a while. So that's the story about the time mom found the piss drawer Batman had been relieving himself in. It just doesn't get much better, folks.
