Sometimes the internet doesn't totally suck. For all those trolls who shame celebrity moms, there are people who will offer praise. Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex is often on the receiving end of hate. But after her appearance at the London premiere of Disney's The Lion King, she's receiving raves for her look.

People are praising her for embracing her postpartum body. She wore a beautiful black dress that was form fitting, but not tight. It would have been very easy for her to wear something with less shape. But by choosing not to hide her body, she is sending a very clear message. She is choosing to embrace it, rather than feel shame over it. And that is empowering to other new mothers.

She gave birth to her first child, son Archie two short months ago. While she is still mostly laying low and bonding with her baby, she's making occasional appearances. The first time we saw her was when she and Prince Harry presented Archie to the world. Wearing a simple sleeveless shirt dress, she looked comfortable and happy. Her appearance to cheer on her bestie Serena Williams at Wimbledon was also a very classic look, embracing her new body.

It is clear that she is choosing to focus on her baby and being a mom than "bouncing back." At this point, she's been to a small handful of events, but she always looks great. And more importantly, she always looks genuinely happy. You can tell when someone is wearing something that makes them uncomfortable. But Meghan is consistently choosing pieces that clearly make her feel good. With a platform like hers, other women are seeing her and following her lead.

"I love that. I’m 4 months postpartum and I still have a little stomach and is bigger than I use to be," reads a tweet about her look at the premiere.

It's wonderful to see people showering her with praise for once. Especially after all of the criticism she received about the way she held Archie at a charity polo match recently.
