Madonna's oldest daughter is stepping into the spotlight with a new modeling campaign. Lourdes Leon, 23, will be featured in a new summer campaign for fashion brand Miaou.
Leon will be one of three models for the indie fashion brand's latest series of ads celebrating flirty fashions and bold prints. The black-haired beauty is stepping out from behind her famous mother's footsteps with a burgeoning modeling career.
However, this isn't her first foray into modeling. Leon has been featured before by other designers like Stella McCartney, Gypsy Sport, and MadeMe. She also posed for her mother's fashion line that was featured in Macy's way back in 2010. Paloma Elsesser and Ashley Smith also rock the Miaou campaign with Leon.
The three women pose together on green grass wearing some signature Miaou, curve-hugging dresses by Alexia Elkaim. Another shot from the photoshoot shows Leon laying in the sand looking just like her superstar mother. Her eyebrows are prominent as well as her large pouty lip. We don't know how, but it seems like celebrities always have beautiful children.
When your mom is Madonna, life can't be easy. You'll need to make a name for yourself. Leon did that late last year when she made headlines for something that her boundary pushing mother may do. In December 2019, Lourdes participated in a simulated orgy during the Art Basel fashion show in Miami. She was one of thirty models who writhed around together and simulated sex acts.
The purpose of the show was to represent love of all kinds. The models were also inclusive of all sizes, races, and genders to show the acceptance of multiculturalism and diversity. Leon is definitely Madonna's daughter participating in a show like that.
Leon has also tried her hand at singing. She previously studied musical theater at the University of Michigan. Leon is Madonna's oldest daughter. Her father is Carlos Leon who was Madonna's personal trainer. The couple never married but her dad was very involved in her life. Leon spent most of her childhood in New York.
Madonna has five other children from her marriage to Guy Ritchie and adoption. Leon is the first to leave Madonna's nest and the first to make a name for herself. Her summer Miaou campaign may be the first place you see Lourdes strike a pose, but it won't be the last.
