After the runaway success of Love Is Blind Season 1, Netflix has announced that Seasons 2 and 3 are officially on their way. The streaming service’s first attempt at matchmaking was an instant hit when it premiered in early February. The experimental dating show, which had potential couples getting to know each other while isolated in separate pods, seems fitting for these times in which many of us are mastering the art of social distancing.

The shows breakout stars, Cameron Hamilton and Lauren Speed, proved that love is indeed blind. The couple, who connected instantly and easily, have been together for more than a year and a half, and judging from their Instagram updates, are as madly in love as when they tearfully said “I do” at the end of Season 1.

Love Is Blind, which also had plenty of drama and questionable love connections, promises even more surprises in Season 2. The show will relocate from Atlanta to Chicago where Netflix is currently conducting casting calls. So if you live in the Windy City and are looking to meet the love of your life from behind a wall, get on it. You may just find your Cameron or Lauren or you could end up with a boatload of craziness like Jessica and Mark. Either way, you might enjoy a few weeks of free wine and a trip to an exotic locale.

In addition to renewing Love Is Blind for two more seasons, Netflix has also announced that The Circle, its other social distancing reality series, will get a second and third season. In addition, the streaming service has greenlit Season 2 of its hip-hop competition series Rhythm + Flow. And Marie Kondo, everyone’s favorite neat freak, will debut a new series called Sparking Joy With Marie Kondo, in which she will "set out to tidy one small town in America."

Season 2 of Love Is Blind, The Circle, Rhythm + Flow as well as Sparking Joy With Marie Kondo are scheduled to arrive on the streaming service in 2021. By then, we will hopefully be watching Netflix to chill rather than to escape COVID-19.
