Ever since the infamous college admissions scandal came out, the repercussions have been severe and large in terms of scale. Several celebrities have been arrested for trying to help get their kids into college. Some have even been convicted and sentenced already. But it's not just those who took part in the bribery scandal who've been affected by this; the children of the parents who've been arrested and convicted will forever be impacted by this legal mess.

Case in point: Olivia Jade and her sister Isabella, daughters of actress Lori Loughlin. When the scandal broke, many people shamed the sisters for not deserving to go to the University of Southern California. Loughlin allegedly spent about $500 000 USD to make her daughters rowing team recruits in order to get into college. With that in mind, such criticism wasn't shocking. The sisters are now no longer students at this university.

In Olivia's case, she's been impacted even harder due to her online presence as a YouTuber and social media influencer. She's lost several sponsorships, even more subscribers and the respect of viewers everywhere. Despite this, Olivia still continues to post on her Instagram page sporadically. She did take a hiatus from YouTube- but not anymore.

Recently, Olivia released a new YouTube video titled "hi again". She explains how she wants to talk about certain things but is currently unable to. Yet the big thing she neglected to mention was that her mother had told her to stay off social media until her and husband Mossimo Giannulli's trials took place. But between the Instagram posts and this video, Loughlin is angry at her daughter's actions.

"Olivia’s YouTube video was a big betrayal. And cracks in the family are starting to show," one source close to the family revealed.

The same source said that Olivia had "had enough" of staying quiet, so she decided to post the video anyway. But doing so without the input of her mother's lawyer has evidently hurt the family. It'll be interesting to see what happens next.
