Fans Call For Gordon Ramsay To Play Angry Chef Louis In Live-Action 'Little Mermaid'

The new live action Little Mermaid film was in the news for all the wrong reasons, with people finding ridiculous reasons to be upset by the wonderful casting of the lead role. However, the people are talking again about casting, but this time it’s a suggestion of what people do want to see- Gordon Ramsay as the Angry Chef Louis.

In case it's been awhile since you've seen it, the chef is the animated fellow in Price Eric’s kitchen who sings and yells while he attempts to cook Sebastien the crab. When Sebastien escapes, he loses his cool and angrily starts throwing knives and causing a spectacle. This brings to mind another angry chef that we all know and love.

Fans on Twitter have decided that famous Chef Gordon Ramsay is the perfect person to play this role. Ramsay is known for his work on TV shows such as Hell’s Kitchen and Master Chef. He is also known for his bad temper and mad insult skills when it comes to berating his contestants. After all, this is the guy who made a person into an idiot sandwich, arguably one of the best GIF-able moments of all time.

Twitter user @gothjackieburk posted a side by side of the cartoon Chef Lois and Ramsay, with the caption that said “okay, hear me out, Gordon Ramsay as Prince Eric’s angry French chef, Louis”.

The tweet went on to get almost 230,000 likes and over 51,000 retweets. Seems like this might be a brilliant idea, and many people agree. Gordon Ramsay himself must have been overwhelmed by the notifications as people were tagging him left and right in the tweet thread.

This remake looks like it is going to be awesome and despite the drama, the casting of Halle Bailey was incredible. Rumor has it that Melissa McCarthy may end up playing Ursula, which would be very exciting if it were true. Gordon Ramsey as the angry Chef would be equal parts hilarious and awesome, so even though this was just some Twitter imagined nonsense, don't mind if we close our eyes and cross our fingers for it to come true.
