Lifetime's New Year's Eve Movie Lineup Is The Only Way To Spend NYE

Now that the madness of Christmas is over, it's time to start preparing for the next big holiday which is New Year's Eve. While many people love to go out and keep the celebration going with friends and family, many love to tuck in at home and do nothing but chill out and watch cheesy romcom's while ringing in the new year.

We all know that Lifetime is always here for us during the holiday season with an endless line up of original and new holiday movies starring our favorite actors and actresses. These are movies we look forward to all year and love to binge watch as we wrap gifts and bake cookies and steal some much needed 'me time' away from the family during the holidays. If you thought that Lifetime was abandoning you now that Christmas has come and gone, you have nothing to worry about. The network has a full line up of old-school thrillers, tear-jerkers and romcoms you can binge watch while saying goodbye to 2018.

This 1991 classic starring Julia Roberts and Patrick Bergin starts out making you think it's going to be a sweet love story, but it quickly turns in to a stunning thriller that involves obsession, abuse, and a fearful wife staging her own death. Sleeping With The Enemy is the perfect movie to watch to kick off your NYE!

2:04 AM - The Stepfather

If you're a night owl who likes a bit of a scare, this movie is for you! Starring early 2000 faves Penn Badgley, Sela Ward and Dylan Walsh this movie explores whether 'the stepfather' is really a knight in shining armor, or if he has a more sinister side to him.

8:00 AM - You Again

This 2010 flick stars Kristen Bell as a successful young woman who realizes her brother is marrying the one person who made her high school life a living nightmare! The star-studded cast includes Jamie Lee Curtis, Sigourney Weaver and none other than Betty White! It's the perfect romcom to start off your NYE binge watch the right way!

12:00 PM - Fool's Gold

The king and queen of the romcom, Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson star in this movie about how a lost treasure just may end up saving a lost marriage. The perfect movie to snuggle in for during your NYE lunch!

2:00 PM - John Tucker Must Die

Nothing says quality NYE binge-watching like this cult classic starring Jesse Metcalfe as a cheating high school jock. When his three girlfriends find out about each other, they plot to end his philandering ways!

4:00 PM - You Again
