If you are looking to visit LEGOLAND® California with your family this year, we’ve got very exciting news for you. That’s because the popular theme park destination is offering free admission for kids on their birthdays for the entire year of 2019. Here’s what you need to know.

The company has announced the one-of-a-kind offer to help celebrate LEGOLAND® California’s 20th birthday. Children ages 3 to 12 can head to the park for free on their birthdays during the calendar year of 2019.

“It’s a year of celebration here at LEGOLAND® California Resort,” General Manager Peter Ronchetti said in a statement to the press earlier this week. “2019 is our 20th birthday and we’re proud to announce that all year in 2019, children of 12 and under will come in free on their birthday.”

To score free admission, all you have to do is present proof of birth date — via a document such as a birth certificate, passport or government-issued ID — when you arrive at the LEGOLAND® California ticket booth. Photocopies won’t be accepted, so you’ll have to bring the real deal with you. The free ticket will include LEGOLAND® and all attractions open on the given date, like Sea Life Aquarium and the water park.

Because the age range is for kids from 3 to 12, guests who are turning 13 aren’t eligible for the offer. And in case your birthday falls on a date in which the park is closed, don’t fret. In these instances, there are two options for redemption. The birthday child receives free entry to SEA LIFE aquarium on their birth date or they receive free admission on the closest LEGOLAND® operating day.

It’s without a doubt that many families are going to be taking advantage of this deal, especially those who live in the Southern California region. LEGOLAND® California has some incredible rides and attractions that are fit for the entire family including their Imagination Zone, Land of Adventure, Castle Hill, Pirate Shores, and so much more. There are also plenty of shows and activities that are age-specific throughout the park.
