When Teen Mom 2 star Janelle Evans tried to defend herself on social media by insulting costar Leah Messer, Messer responded by shutting her down.

Janelle Evans recently lost custody of her children during a dispute in which she claimed her husband, David Eason, shot their family dog. The couple lost custody of their 2-year-old daughter, Ensley, Evans's 5-year-old son Kaiser, and Eason's 11-year-old daughter Maryssa. Eason allegedly shot the dog after it bit their 2-year-old in the face. The fiasco turned out to be fabricated for publicity, and along with losing temporary custody of their kids, Evans was also let go from her role on the reality show.

Evans took to social media to defend herself and let her followers know that she is a good mom. Unconvinced, fans commented that good moms do not need to announce it on social media. When a doubtful follower wrote that "good moms don't get their kids taken away," the former reality star was understandably hurt. Unfortunately, she chose to deflect blame away from herself by pointing fingers at her Teen Mom costar, Leah Messer.

Evans replied by saying that Leah Messer must not be a good mom either, because she once had her kids taken away. Messer was not about to let that one slide. She jumped into the conversation, tweeting: "She's gotta pin her troubles on someone...why not it be me?" She continued on, suggesting that Evans "stop attacking people on social media" and worry about her children and herself. She added a heart emoji to convey that she was coming from a place of love.

After her response, Messer stepped away from the conversation. When social media followers jumped into the conversation, commending her for standing up for herself, she replied saying that Evans is not worth her time. When Evans tried to start a dispute and continue the discussion, Messer simply did not reply.
