It is important that children feel supported through this time because it can affect them just as much as their parents. When the children involved are products of two celebrity parents going through a very public divorce, it can be even worse. However, that’s what makes it so much better when parents can put aside their differences and come together to celebrate a holiday.
Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler may be going through a divorce right now, a divorce that is all over the tabloids and media, but they showed that they really care about their children on Halloween. According to US Weekly, the pair reunited to spend Halloween with their children as a family.
Kristin shared a sweet family picture on her Instagram account on November 1st and it showed the pair together with their three children, all dressed in their Halloween costumes. Kristin was wearing a unicorn onesie and Jay wore a black-and-white striped jumpsuit.
The pair have three children, Camden, 8, Jaxon, 6, and Saylor, 4, and they were all there in their costumes. The children’s faces are not visible, as they are likely trying to protect their privacy by not showing them on their social media. Kristin captioned the photo with a very simple “Halloween 2020.” She shared more through her Instagram stories, though those disappear after 24 hours.
Kristin announced that her and Jay were getting a divorce in April after being married for almost 7 years. They have been able to stay committed to co-parenting their children despite the separation. This is something that a lot of parents try their best to do when they are divorcing, because it is in the benefit of their children. Children can benefit from parent’s who are able to co-parent efficiently and positively.
Kristin also said that she and Jay also plan to reunite for Thanksgiving so that they can celebrate it together as a family. It sounds likely that they will also do something similar at Christmas time. She said that she has already discussed the Thanksgiving dinner menu with Jay, and he is going to be in charge of the turkey and lamb, and she is going to do something else. She said that she is thankful for where the couple is at the moment.
